Research skillsets

Moderated Testing

In my role, I lead evaluative research projects that help design teams iterate and improve their work. I've conducted over 40 moderated sessions, where I ask thoughtful, engaging questions and use strategic probes to dig deeper. Beyond verbal responses, I naturally identify user pain points through nonverbal cues and moments of hesitation, where I find the richest insights.

Unmoderated Testing

From recruiting to drafting test plans, I use unmoderated testing to deliver rapid, actionable design feedback. I've launched over 50 tests, ranging from quick A/B preference tests to in-depth usability studies. It's been one of the most impactful methods in my work due to its quick turnaround and seamless integration into the product development process.

User Interviewing

I've conducted and recruited for over 50 user interviews with external customers, exploring their motivations, behaviors, and frustrations. It's one of my favorite research methods because of the close connection it builds with participants and the depth of insight it offers.

Surveying

In a fast-paced environment, surveys are essential for shaping business direction and strategy. I specialize in crafting neutral, unbiased questions and designing thoughtful survey flows. I've launched and analyzed over 20 surveys, with response rates ranging from 300 to 1,000 participants and completion rates around 30%.

Data Visualization & Storytelling

I turn complex data into clear, digestible insights tailored to each stakeholder's needs. My focus is on curating compelling narratives and translating research findings into visual stories that align with business goals.
